EUROSIM 2026, September 21-23, 2026, Genova, Italy
Call for Contributions and Participation to the ASIM Track
ASIM invites all members to participate and contribute to EUROSIM 2026. ASIM provides a special track and has arranged reduced conference fees for members and their interested colleagues.
ASIM Track at EUROSIM 2026: ASIM – Developments in Simulation Technique
The track is dedicated to contributions from the ASIM community. ASIM is the largest simulation society in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) and EUROSIM’s biggest member society.
We invite contributions from practically any simulation and modeling paradigm (discrete-event, continuous, agent-based, hybrid, etc.) to foster an intensive, specific, and cross-disciplinary exchange of experiences about modeling and simulation. In order to integrate also recent developments in simulation technique, this track invites not only for Full Contributions (published in the Conference Proceedings), but also for Discussions Contributions without publication, or with Short Note Publication in EUROSIM/ASIMs scientific membership journal SNE – Simulation Notes Europe.
Track topics:
Fundamentals, methods, and tools of modeling and simulation
Areas of application:
- Natural sciences, engineering sciences, and computer science
- Production and logistics
- Biological, environmental, and geosciences, climate and ecosystem models
- Training and education
Track Co-Chairs:
Oliver Rose, University of the Bundeswehr Munich, Neubiberg, Germany, oliver.rose@unibw.de
Sigrid Wenzel, Universität Kassel, Germany, sigrid.wenzel@uni-kassel.de
Andreas Körner, TU Wien, Vienna, Austria, andreas.koerner@asc.tuwien.ac.at
Contributions:
- Full Contribution, with publication in Elsevier Procedia Computer Science (details below) and oral presentation (presence or virtual), submission with (full) regular conference template and indication ‘ASIM Track – Developments in Simulation Technique’ (submission deadline May 10, 2026, full conference review)
- Discussion Contribution, with oral presentation (presence or virtual, standard length)
- with Short Note Publication in SNE – Simulation Notes Europe after the conference
(details below), submission with regular conference template using maximal 3 pages, and indication ‘ASIM Track – Developments in Simulation Technique’ (submission deadline end of May, short ASIM/SNE review) - or without publication, submission with regular conference template writing only the abstract, and indication ‘ASIM Track – Developments in Simulation Technique’ (submission deadline end of May, short ASIM/SNE review)
- with Short Note Publication in SNE – Simulation Notes Europe after the conference
